★★★★★ A 5-star Review from one of our clients

“I have had nothing but a great experience dealing with St. Petersburg Personal Injury Attorneys McQuaid & Douglas. I was intimidated at first, but Sean McQuaid was always compassionate and supportive regarding several gray areas of my case.

I learned through working with them that communication is key, especially when you are dealing with the aftermath of an accident and needing the full cooperation of your attorneys for a speedy recovery.

I would definitely refer the, to my family and friends based on the attention to detail and professionalism they exhibited throughout my personal injury case. I couldn’t of achieved these results without a committed and aggressive attorney that was willing to fight until the very end. Thank you.”

I agree that communication is extremely important between and law firm and a client. When I get a call from a potential client who has already hired another lawyer or law firm, the number one complaint I hear is that my lawyer doesn’t return my calls. In fact the Florida Bar has in its Rules of Conduct in personal injury cases that clients are entitled to communicate with their lawyers at reasonable intervals. Thus, the Bar must have realized that communication is a problem for some law firms. I do not have this problem. If anything, we probably communicate much more than is necessary. But, over the years, I’ve learned that the more that I know about a client and their case, the easier it is for me to communicate to the insurance company. This equates to faster claims and higher results. My rule of thumb is to hear from every client every three weeks while they are receiving medical treatment and then once a month thereafter. This method helps me head off potential problems such as missed appointments or gaps in treatment. You will never hear me or my staff complain about too much communication from our clients.
