The annual selections are made using a patented multiphase process that includes a statewide survey of lawyers, an independent research evaluation of candidates, and peer reviews by practice area.Sean McQuaid joined the firm as an associate in 2000, was made a shareholder as of Jan 1, 2006 and became a named partner in April 2013, the fastest rise in the 60-year firm history.
