TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — A man who went missing for days from Bradenton has been found after being hit by an SUV, according to authorities.
The Florida Highway Patrol said at 6:35 p.m., a 70-year-old Michigan man was heading south on I-75’s exit ramp to SR-674 when he hit a man who was crossing at the bottom of the ramp.
Troopers described the man as a “37-year-old missing man from Bradenton” who was last seen on Jan. 25.
According to the FHP, the man suffered serious injuries and was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
While the FHP release did not name the missing man, the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office announced that a man who went missing with medical conditions, last seen in Hillsborough County, was found along I-75 near Sun City.
The MCSO release stated he was hospitalized for “injuries from an apparent traffic crash.”
No charges have been filed in the incident.
